I get asked about the name 'Spooy' a lot. Its a nickname from college that just sort of stuck! Besides that, I'm a visual development and concept artist working in New Jersey. I create visual I.P.'s for animated tv and movie pitches, children's books, and video games. So far I've worked on seven Wii titles, one DS title, two iPad titles, and two children's books. I attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and graduated in 2006 with a BFA in Illustration. When I'm not working I love to sit at home and watch TV with cookies and milk on my big red sofa. I'm a giant fan of animation and tend to only watch cartoons and animated movies. Comics, childrens books, and fantasy novels are a big part of my inspiration as well, and I read and collect plenty of them. Truthfully I'm only 5 years old pretending to be some kind of adult.  |
